About RNE Boxing Kansas City
RNE Boxing Kansas City opened its doors in Shawnee, KS in October, 2011 and has quickly gained members of all ages in just a short period of time. Owners Leo Moreno and his daughter E-Lisa Moreno started this boxing club initially in hopes to keep kids off the streets and getting into trouble. If kids can focus their efforts, mind and frustration in a positive way, they are far less likely to cause trouble. At RNE Boxing Club, we teach self-discipline, self-control and self-defense. When all of this is bundled together, the kids have pride in their accomplishments. We all work together as a team here and that is what it's all about.
Since the doors opened, more than just teens started showing up. We now have members of all ages, women and men. Other gyms may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.
Leo Moreno has had many years of experience as a Head Coach in boxing. Leo decided to branch out on their own from Turner Boxing in Kansas City. He says this is the best decision he has ever made in his career.
Elisa Moreno has been boxing for over 6 years. She is now a professional boxer as well as Assistant Head Coach. As of January 1, 2011, her professional stats are 3-1-1.
